How it closes
Top and bottom tuck flaps both close from the front to the back, so the front panel is uninterrupted.
Best for: Shelf boxes where the front panel carries the design; window and hang-tab builds; light products up to about 1 lb (estimate).
If you are torn between STE and RTE, ask yourself whether anyone will see the front of the carton opened from the top. If the front panel is your shelf face, STE keeps it uninterrupted.
